Ginger lemon Iced tea

Ingredients

  • 3 Black tea bags I used Lipton
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 inch piece of ginger
  • 1 cup water.
  • 18 to 20 pieces ice cubes
  • Lemon slices

Instructions

  • Boil water in a kettle or a pot.
  • In a big mug, add tea bags and ginger. Pour boiling water in the mug
  • Dip the tea bags multiple times and let the tea brew for 10 mins.
  • Remove the tea bags, and add honey and lemon juice. Mix well.
  • Fill 2 glasses with ice cubes and a few lemon slices. Pour the hot tea over the ice cubes. Mix well and drink.

Notes

You can make the ice tea mix and keep in the fridge to use later. It can stay in the fridge for upto a week.
