In reply to Rabab Shaheeb. hey Rabab! so yes most recipes skip the milk. But it literally is the SECRET ingredient to get soft anday ka halwa that can also be cut into bars! it gives you a katli / candy texture that all anday ka halwas dont have!

Thank you for this recipe, I will be sure to try it! Also, I saw another one without dairy. It called for eggs, sugar, and ghee. I am just curious, what do you think is the role of milk here?

Hi, I made the halwa and it turned out to be very tasty. However, my halwa was quite crumbly and did not stick together even after 1 hour of cool time. What could have gone wrong?

Oh love this recipe inshaallah try again n again after one try yes it’s truely best n easy recipe n soo yummy noone stop their hand
